Zag Martin doesn’t literally jump out of the window. The nature-boy from Appenzell is a man of action and an optimist. His style is refreshing, against all odds. It doesn’t help to be stoned, the entertainer sings with conviction. His vibes are contagious and thrilling.
He was born with a flair for music, when the world used to be a better one. Since then he came around on our Perpetuum Mobile. As a man of many talents and interests, he’s been around the globe more than once, travelling as a singer and skiing-instructor and learning six languages along the way.
In his professional life, Zag Martin is an expert on sustainable development and knows that our planet desperately needs a change. Zag Martin isn’t stumbling and hits the road towards the 2000 Watt society, taking his guitar, by bike. Since biking is the fastest way to move in Zurich, his base.
Zag Martin sings with passion und writes his own songs. He plays the drums and the guitar effortlessly – with or without electricity. With 2000 Watt, you can make a pretty racket.
But Zag Martin’s mission is not just any, Not Number 18. The time is just ripe to put a new record on. So come along, with verve and vitality, but in the right direction. After all, renewable energy is the most powerful. The world will be fun for a long time, but it needs – beside the soundtrack of Zag Martin – just a small step. Jump!

Die Zeit ist reif für eine neue Platte
Zag Martin springt nicht gleich aus dem Fenster. Der Naturbursche aus dem Appenzell ist ein Macher und ein Optimist. Sein Stil ist erfrischend, allen Widrigkeiten zum Trotz. Kiffen und Trübsal blasen hilft niemandem weiter, singt der Entertainer mit Überzeugung. Seine guten Vibes sind ansteckend und mitreissend.
Die Musik wurde Zag Martin in die Wiege gelegt, als die Welt noch besser war. Seither ist er ist herumgekommen auf unserem Perpetuum Mobile. Der Vielseitige lebte für den Sport, jobbte als singender Skilehrer und reiste mit dem Rucksack mehr als einmal um die Kugel.
Im zweiten Leben ist Zag Martin Experte in nachhaltiger Entwicklung, spricht 6 Sprachen und weiss wie wir alle: Dem Planeten täte eine Veränderung wirklich gut.
Zag Martin studiert nicht lange und macht sich auf den Weg zur 2000 Watt-Gesellschaft. Mit Gitarre und auf dem Velo. Denn seine Basis ist Zürich, wo man auf zwei Rädern einfach am schnellsten vorwärts kommt.
Zag Martin singt mit Leidenschaft und schreibt seine Songs selbst. Er spielt mit Leichtigkeit Schlagzeug und Gitarre – mit oder ohne Strom. Mit 2000 Watt kann man ganz schön Krach machen.
Zag Martins Mission ist aber nicht irgendeine, Not Number 18. Die Zeit ist schlicht reif, eine neue Platte aufzulegen. Also vorwärts, mit Elan und Lebensfreude, aber in die richtige Richtung. L‘heure est venue pour un nouveau disque
Zag Martin ne se jette pas d’emblée par la fenêtre. Le garçon proche de la nature originaire d’Appenzell est un fonceur et un optimiste. Son style est rafraîchissant, malgré toutes les contrariétés. Kifer et broyer du noir n’est utile à personne, l’animateur chante avec conviction. Ses vibrations sont contagieuses et entraînantes.
Zag Martin a la musique dans la peau de naissance, quand le monde était meilleur. Depuis, il a fait le tour sur notre Perpetuum Mobile. Etant polyvalent, il vivait pour le sport, bossait comme moniteur de ski-chanteur, et a voyagé plus d’une fois autour de la sphère avec son sac à dos.
Dans sa seconde vie, Zag Martin est expert en développement durable, parle 6 langues, et il sait comme nous tous : du changement ferait du bien à notre planète. Zag Martin n’étudie pas longtemps et se met en marche pour la société 2000 Watts. Avec la guitare et en vélo. Car sa base est Zurich, où l’on avance tout simplement le plus vite sur deux roues.
Zag Martin chante avec de la passion et écrit ses morceaux lui-même. Il joue de la batterie et de la guitare avec aisance – avec ou sans courant électrique. Avec 2000 Watt on peut bien faire du vacarme.
Cependant, la Mission de Zag Martin n’est pas quelconque, Not Number 18. L’heure est simplement à un nouveau disque. Alors allons, avec de l’élan et de la joie de vivre, mais dans la bonne direction. Pour finir, l’énergie renouvelable a la plus grande puissance.
